KOTLER ICE ARENA OFFICIALLY OPENS FRIDAY WITH CELEBRATION! Normal schedule starts Saturday. Keep reading for specific program updates and changes….
So close! The ice looks great and now rink staff are hard at work finishing up final touches so we can open. (This includes welding the west Zamboni doors in place so no one skates out the back end, cleaning up from all the construction projects so no kids get hurt, and a few other final safety related elements).
We will officially open the ice rink this Friday night with the Rink Celebration to dedicate the chillers, honor Ari Kotler’s decade of service, celebrate YOU for your generosity and support, and recognize dozens of the volunteers and key donors who helped make the Kotler Ice Arena what it is today.
Remember, entry into the Disco Skating Party or to watch the Pond Hockey Battle is FREE, but we still need to charge for skate rentals due to limited supply (please bring your own if you have them). Beer, brats, cocoa, and other snacks will be for sale.
