TOURNAMENTS AT THE KOTLER ICE ARENA

 

Congratulations!  You have chosen to enter your team in a tournament at the Kotler Ice Arena on our newly installed mechanical cooling system!  Chillers = reliable ice for our covered but open-air ice arena (with a killer view of the Big Hole Mountains to the west!).  We will only host 3 tournaments in 2016/17, but during the 2017/18 season we will hold 6 tournaments spanning a variety of youth age division, as well as adult and women’s tournaments.  Please click on the links below to register your team and pay:

 

 

CUTTHROAT CLASSIC POND HOCKEY TOURNAMENT – JANUARY 20-22, 2017

Cutthroat Classic Tournament Details

  • B,C,D level players
  • “Ringer” rule in which anyone who scores 3 goals in a game will sit out the rest of the game
  • No “A” level players (such as Moose Hockey players)
  • 2 women required per team
  • 5 on 5
  • No goalies (Pond Hockey)
  • Live music “ONE TON PIG” at the Knotty Pine on Friday, January 20th at 8pm. Tournament players receive discounted entry to show (only $5!)
  • Tournament schedule pending based on the number of teams, but it will start on Friday afternoon/evening. Semi Finals, 3rd Place game, and Finals on Sunday morning
  • Minimum 8 teams, maximum 12 teams
  • All players will be required to sign a waiver.

DRIVING

For detailed driving directions from your location visit googlemaps.com and indicate your destination as Driggs, Victor,Tetonia, Idaho or Alta, Wyoming, depending on the event(s) that you can’t wait to attend.  (Note the majority of events take place in Driggs if you aren’t sure). FLYING

Jackson Hole Airport – JAC Jackson Hole Airport is serviced by United and Delta Airlines year round and AmericanSkyWest, and Frontier Airlines seasonally. Direct flights are available to/from Denver, Salt Lake City, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Minneapolis, Chicago, Atlanta, and Los Angeles. Rental cars as well as shuttle and taxi services are available at the Jackson Hole airport.

Idaho Falls Regional Airport – IDA Approximately 1 hour drive from Driggs, the Idaho Falls Airport is serviced by Delta/SkyWest, United Express, and Allegient Air. Direct flights are available to/from Denver, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Phoenix-Mesa and Salt Lake City. Rental cars are available at the Idaho Falls Airport.  There is also a shuttle you can pick up coming from SLC on its way to Jackson that will drop you off in Victor.

Driggs Reed Memorial Airport/Teton Aviation – KDIJ Located in the center of Teton Valley, the Driggs Reed Memorial Airport and Teton Aviation are fully equipped to support your private charter needs. Line services are offered 24/7 and heated hangars are available for rental.  There are no landing fees and rental cars are available through Hertz on site.
