Volunteering at Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest is a huge harvest-time party thrown by the Grand Teton Brewery, at the Kotler Ice Arena in Victor. The proceeds from this event support the Teton Valley Foundation.
We will need volunteers to do everything from selling tickets at the entry, to cooking food, to serving beer and wine.
Volunteer Positions at Oktoberfest
- Entry: These folks will sell and check tickets at the entry to Oktoberfest. They will also card attendees to ensure that beer drinkers are of drinking age. Shift: 4:30-8:30pm.
- Token sales: This year, tokens will be accepted for food, beer, and games. Shift: 4:30-8:30pm.
- Merchandise sales: Help sell mugs, stickers, tee shirts, etc. Shift: 4:30-8:30pm.
- Cook: Work in the outdoor “kitchen” to cook or serve brats and burgers. Shift: 4:30-8:30pm.
- Set up: Arrive early to help us set up tables, chairs, decorations, and fences. Shift: 12-3pm.
- Clean up: Stay late to help us clean up tables, chairs, decorations, fences, and trash. Shift: 9-11pm)
- Moose Cross Registration: Help the Victor Velo sign up racers for Moose Cross (a portion of all registration fees will benefit Teton Valley Foundation!) Shift: 10am-2pm.
