For Parents

Program Info

Our Youth Hockey program is made great by the families that support us! By participating in our program, you commit to a minimum of 5 volunteer hours, that are served either during a fundraising event or during a home tournament. Additionally, our parent code of conduct needs to be read, signed and returned to your team manager before the first practice.

For more information and a link to the Parent Code of Conduct, please click on the MORE INFORMATION link above.

Girls Hockey

Program Info

Our Girls Hockey Program is a development program for girls aged 4-14. This is currently structured as a non-competitive program in which the skills of hockey will be taught and practiced.

We are, however, looking to move towards friendly competition this year with local girls programs, if there is interest. No tournaments are included, but the opportunity to join an all girls team from Jackson or Idaho Falls may be available to those who qualify, and if we have the numbers to put up a team full of our own skaters we will! As an all levels program, the girls will be divided based on skill level and age. Skating techniques, skill drills and some scrimmage play will round out the program.

The coaching staff is comprised of female USA Hockey certified coaches. Teton Valley Foundation is subsidizing the fees for Girls Hockey to encourage participation and grow our program! This is a fun and affordable way to participate in a lifelong sport in a supportive environment! Girls Hockey is a supplemental program offered in addition to our co-ed Cutthroats. Girls can participate in both programs at a discounted rate. New players are also welcome!

Tater’s Skaters
Scholarship Fund

Program Info

Our Tater’s Skaters program serves to ensure the cost of hockey is as small of a barrier as possible. Each year we provide full and partial scholarships to need based applicants. In 2021, as costs of travel began to soar, we began extending our support to cover as much travel costs as possible for Cutthroat players. We will begin accepting applications for the 2022-23 season September 1st, 2022. The deadline to apply for 2022-23 season scholarships is 11:59pm on September 30th, 2022.
